It might not seem like much but under the hot sun, body of the car absorbs the heat and in minutes - it's literally FRYING! Fabes tried and he couldn't even last 6 seconds! I tried and I lasted 15 - well, it's just obvious who's the better man :P heheh...

That same night Jules suggested that we checked out a brand new coffee chain called Bad Ass Coffee... and man, I checked out and I felt BAD ASS!

I'm a huge coffee lover so the recommendation was GREAT! They had HUGE donuts and the drinks...mmm... had a strange but good coffee after taste - I went for the Raspberry and Cream Signature Coffee... Verdict? I LIKE.

After having the coffee, I was home - wasn't sure if it was the coffee but my dog looked at me strangely... I must have looked BAD ASS :)

Thanks to the wonders of technology, we were kept ALIVE... via UPS - Uninterruptable Power Supply - only problem, Fabes disappeared... (if only he smiled - did he?)

So the Raya weekend came and went... it was AWESOME knowing that I had Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off... so here's how I spent it.

I checked into a hotel in the heart of KL and pretended to be a foreigner... I left my car in the basement and NEVER took it out throughout my stay! It was AWEEESSSOOOMMMEEEE... very relaxed... very chilled... Stella and I being our kiasu selves made sure we took as much bottled soap, moisturizer and shampoo we could find... at 1 point, I had 6 bottles of these things WOOHOO! Love freebies.

Anyway, firstly I've got the highlight one of the first few homes I visited... I drove all the way to Semenyih... checked out the 'kampung' scene... complete with live stock running from one end of the kampung to the other...

We found the poor fella stuck deep in a DARK cabinet and we felt REALLY sorry for him. It's no wonder why tweets started coming from the dude saying 'cluck! cluck! it's dark in here - HELP!' - yes, Ayam has a twitter account as well - it's @ayamisme. So go ahead and add him for the latest updates.

So here's what we did... since we care about ayam, we decided to kidnap him and get Jules & Prem a little concerned...

Sure, the iPhone doesn't have the BESTEST camera in the world. Being a Nokia user, I've been pampered with mostly a 5 megapixel camera world. Then the iPhone came around, 3 megapixels, ZERO flash... I thought to myself... geez, could that be the down fall of the iPhone?

Looks like I was wrong...

One of the beauties of the iPhone is the fact that there are literally tonnes and tonnes of applications to be downloaded that will 'better' your phone. Want flash? No problemo! Download "Flash For Free"
. Works well... I mean I'd be kidding you to say that it's a Flash replacement but hey, it helps!

Then lately, I discovered this app called ColorSplash - WOW! this app is just amazing! Checkout some of the things I've been able to do to regular pics taken through the phone!

You see, in Fly FM, there's a lot of love... and once in yellow moon, we get a new brother... his name - AYAM!

In case you don't know who ayam is, he's a production of Jules and Prem from Fly FM's Rush Hour - yes, the very same people you listen to from 4-8pm on weekdays. Why a chicken? I can't tell... why is it featherless? I don't know...

So anyway, today, Ayam joined us for a meeting for the very first time... He was very equipped, had a pink phone (no one knows why pink), a notepad which and a pen.

At Fly FM, we've got this thing called Thursday team meetings - which I look forward to... well the meeting not as much as what happens after the meet - it's LUNCH BABY!

When you're doing your shift, we sometimes don't get to see our team mates as often... Jules, Prem, Basil, Hafiz, Hunny... (Steve unfortunately goes on air during our lunch)... I look forward to meeting up with them... sometimes its for a laugh, sometimes just endless chatter and sometimes it's just for pure irritation...

It's been really warm lately... our producer, Amrita is doing the mind over matter thing... so she decided to come in this morning, complete with snow gloves, matching ski cap with her notebook (is that what you call it?) and a pair of glasses to block out the reflection from the apparent 'snow' - which really was the glare from her screen :P

So the news is out, I got myself and iPhone 3GS... I just missed it... really, the iPhone by far has the BEST operating system out there hands down and of course, what really makes this phone for me is it's thousands of thousands of applications out there that are readily downloadable from the App Store! I'll be doing a very FAIR comparison between my new baby iPhone 3GS and my other baby the Nokia N97... but in the mean time, I downloaded an app called the iSwap Faces for the iPhone and did some MAGIC... :)

That's because they are our little brother and sister. It is our duty to take care of them...

You see, we needed to ensure our younger siblings would feel as though they have had a 'tough' fight.

Do we still love them?
Of course we do. Fly FM Pagi Show will always LOVE Fly FM Rush Hour. It doesn't matter what they say about us. They can call us dumb, strange looking... whatever - we'll take it... why? Because we CARE :)
