The revenge of Microsoft...

We all know that iTunes has been steadily growing in terms of market share when it comes to choice of Media Player for the PC. One of the reasons behind this growth is due to the popularity of it's iPod player that talks to Apple's very own proprietary Media Player - iTunes.



Since then, Microsoft's Windows Media Player has been losing popularity and have responded with their latest media player - Windows Media Player 11.

I was one of those people who migrated to the world of iTunes after purchasing an iPod but Microsoft might just have done it this time.

Windows Media Player 11 spots a hugely refined interface, a search engine that is certainly faster and more efficient that Apple's iTunes PLUS it doesn't only play music and videos but acts as a slideshow player for pictures stored in your computer as well!
