Opera's CEO going for a loonnngg swim... while Mozilla goes panic over bug

Opera
Opera has launched yet again another version - 8.0! Isn't that crazy? They've got more versions than the infamous Internet Explorer (which is just about to release version 7.0). This time around, the CEO promised the public that if their latest version of the browser achieve 1 million downloads in 4 days, he would swim from Norway to the US. Impossible? Perhaps not. Just 2 days after the launch, the figures have spiked up to 600,000 - just 400,000 to go! Mr. Jon S. von Tetzchner, get your swimming trunks ready!

Mozilla
Positioned as a super safe browser, Mozilla was recently slapped in the face with reports of security bugs. That's no good for the browser which has recently achieved over 50 million downloads. Any patches or fixes so far? Not that I can remember :(

The lesson? Go Microsoft... at least they provide updates the moment a bug hits... :)
